Certification
The Gibbon Certification programme allows individuals and organisations to demonstrate a high level of competence in administration of the Gibbon open source school platform.
It is intended for those who are seeking employment in schools that use Gibbon, and for those looking to provide services to such schools.
At current there are three options for certification:
- Gibbon Administrator Level 1 - requires completion of Community Values and the 8 orange units in the map.
- Gibbon System Administrator Level 1 - requires completion of Community Values and the 8 blue units in the map.
- Official Gibbon Partner - requires completion of all 18 units in the map.
Successful completion of the certification programme entitles participants to use the title of the certification, and matching digital badge, in their marketing materials.
Each unit culminates in the creation and submission of a piece of evidence, which will be assessed by a designated mentor.
